Name Plague of YiWen and Yijing

I'm never good in ART. It has never in my blood before. When I was in secondary school, when it was time for art subject, I will think every possible way to skip the 3 hours class. Since I was a school prefect, I have the privilege to go out maybe for prefect meeting, discussion with discipline teacher or etc etc. And of coz I always get extremely low mark in this subject. If able to score 60 , that's already a miracle. Ya! That BAD! :P 

I'm a very technical person,(that's why I ended up in this career) if you give me blank paper and ask me draw a human, i think i can only sketch you skeleton.. :P But if you give me ugly photo, i can touch up it nicely in PhotoShop. So , message to my kids.. don't ask mommy to help you in Art.. if not the more i help.. the chances of you failing is higher.. :P LOL..

When my colleague, Jphier told me that she does painting during her free time and even has a collection of it, it just struck my mind, that maybe i can ask her to do something cute (at very reasonable price) for my daughters as well. See the above? Name plagues made of paper clay and the plate frame is made of thin wood. She put a lot of effort to have it done. Actually it is quite tedious, she told me, each name plague must be coloured with base, then paint a  solid paint on it, carefully touch up it and outline the feature to have it look 3D and finally varnish each letters with acrylic varnish. Last step is, glue it up to the wooden plate. Completed within 2 weeks time. Not bad uh? 

I'm not going nail it to the door as I don't want to see it broken into pieces when YiWen bang the door.. (u know kids can be rough at times). So, maybe i will nail it up on the wall and then nail up photo of YiWen and YiJing underneath each name respectively. I'm sure gonna be nice ... :D

8 Months

YiJing at 8 months:

1) Weight: 8kg.. Height: Didn't measure

2) Can commando crawl speedily.

3) Bergigi satu since 7 months 2weeks... 1 more popping out soon

2) Love porridge very muchie... 

3) Favourite dessert is Banana Custard ... YUM YUM!

4) Very very extremely sticky to Mommy... move an inch.. she will scream and cry

5) Laughing aloud when seeing her sister running around like mad...

6) Her favourite toy ... pull-along-phone

7) Occasionally say "ba-ba" ... jealous me! 

8) Love milk milk before nap/bedtime

9) Need pacifier or mommy's nen nen to sleep

10) Can sleep with or without sarong.. GOOD Girl!

11) Extremely sweaty after playtime or when weather is hot... inherited by papa

Generally, a very GOOD baby! 

Everyday, just can't wait to go back home see you and your sister. ^_^

Genting Trip

Finally, myself and hubby have guts to bring our 2 girls for trip. Yeah! Is GENTING trip.. long awaited trip .. :)

Why need "guts"? Actually is mommy who don't have "guts". I just don't have confident to handle these 2 gals at once especially at places which I'm not familiar. But thinking of it, if I don't try I won't know for real if I can cope or not. So here we are! GENTING! Ho ho.. :P

Hubby booked a deluxe room at Theme Park Hotel. With 1 queen size bed and a single bed. Very cosy .. and big enough for kids to move around.

Sister sister! 

YiWen was extremely happy during the entire trip but just too lazy to walk. Maybe she loves to sit on Yijing's new stroller. Poor me, I have to carry 8kg baby up and down the Genting. Shoulder and spine also "senget" already. 

This bergigi-satu-baby was very happy too.. laughing and got excited everytime see her sister running around. Oh, she loves balloon too.. :D

So cold.. so wet! As though inside the cloud.. Spending lot of time at outdoor enjoying the cold breeze. 

Luckily both gals came back without running nose..  

Generally, a very enjoyable and happy trip for our family. Will plan to go somewhere further next year. Just can't wait!! hehehehe! 

6 months!

Yijing is exactly 6months today!! YIPPIE! Time flies.. felt like it was just a month ago i gave birth to her.. hahaha.. I have slowly feeding her Nestle Celerac Rice to her. The one in green can. This is actually less sweet than the blue can (also rice). Coz the blue can has added milk and i believe more sugar. I found it quite sweet for young babies. Tomorrow gonna feed her some banana puree.. :)

Since last week, she has started crawling.. not forward but backward.. :) A minute you put her in front, you will see her disappear to the back... macam KIT KAT! Sekejap ada.. sekejap HILANG.. :P

Weird thing is .. baby this young knows how to pick their feeding bottle. Since newborn, I'd been using bottle from MAM brand.. there was time, she refused to drink milk. So I switch and tried bottle from PIGEON. FAailed. Then we tried with MEDELA bottle, BINGO. She loves it! This bottles are actually gift from my brother which he bought it in USA when he was having his training there. Great saviour, bro!

Rolling everywhere...

Even since Yijing able to full-slip at 3mths 3weeks, she has non-stop practicing it. Now she is so super expert with it, she is rolling everywhere around the living room and sometimes to dinning room.. She loves to roll to underneath the coffee table. Hiding herself there... Her jie-jie will shout at her.. "YIJING ar!!" Asking her to come out.. or "MOMMY, YOU SEE!!" (Pointing at Yijing underneath the coffee table) ... These 2 girls are really entertainers to me.. :)

Bumbo Seat for Yijing

Yijing at 5.5mths now,  it is time for her to sit upright. We can sense it. When we carry her while sitting down, we are able to see her held her head high then sitting quite stably without much support. So, i search high and low for a used BUMBO seat for her. Why used item and why not new? New one is about RM199.90 and baby will sit just 2 mths the most? Once baby is able to sit upright without anymore support, u think they still want you to trap them in this seat? They will eagerly roam free around the room.. :P CRAWLING!

Finally i bum into this online store and offered me RM110 + RM10 postage. 40% off compared to new one. Ok la.. just few months.. Can sell off again once not in used.

Now, i can rest more! Especially my arms! :P

She can smell , see and recognize me!!

Yijing is now at 5mths 2weeks old.. weighing at 7.42kg. Surely a good weight to me. :) She is also a fully breastfed baby. Not sure how long more i'm going to feed her with breastmilk.. but i do hope i can extend to as many months as possible.. hopefully the breasts "chang hei" a bit.. :P

Lately, I found Yijing is able to see and recognize me. She does not let anyone to carry her...even if she lets, it will only be for a moment. Once she sees me walk past or heard my voice.. then she will start crying.. babies are so smart.. they just knew!! 

Yijing does not really like sarong... the most she can sleep on sarong is just 1 hour (in quiet room), just enough for me to pump milk and take quick shower.. she just knew when will i be free... :S Though taking care of her is quite tiring for me, i'm loving every minutes of it. She loves me to carry and sing her to sleep.. without much struggle.. :) To me , she is a lot calmer than her elder sister, YiWen. Nevertheless, mommy loves both of you till the end ... **muak muak**

Strong baby of mine!

Pardon me if photos taken are a bit dim and not too sharp.. it is taken via my HTC Aria and under dim environment. Too bad this HTC is without flash. Sigh.. should have get a flash smartphone instead. But anyway, i got it at special price.. so thinking back on the price, still no regret. :P

Baby Yijing is already 5mths 2 weeks, she is a lot stronger now.. neck and spine are much much harden .. at this time, it is much easier to carry her.. but of coz still need to be more careful. FIL who afraid to carry baby (coz young babies are soft and hard to carry) , is now loving to carry Yijing.. :D

Compared to YiWen, myself actually spent less time with Yijing, as we sent her to nanny from Mon-Fri (full day) and Sat (half day). But i'm loving every minutes with her. She is such a lovely baby.. she loves to smile in very cute manner.. unlike her elder sister who actually laugh till vomit even during baby time! **Slap Forehead**

Yijing develop a tear duct blockage such newborn. This causing extreme eye discharge and tear out from her left eye. Seen 3 child specialist and all said 90% it will be gone once she is 1 or 1+ years old. When baby is older, the duct will enlarged and then will unblocked by itself by then. Just let's hope she will have it through soon.

Few more weeks , Yijing will start on solid food.. just can't wait to let her try baby food soon! Got to shop for more cereal and steam mashed food for her soon!! :)

Do they look similar? I think both their eyes look like mommy.. nose like daddy.. YiWen's mouth looks like daddy whereas YiJing's like mommy.. YiJing got more hairs then YiWen , obviously.... :P Both also very chubby , but somehow YiJing extra chubby.. kakakaka.. Argh, both are my PRECIOUS!!  :)

5th Day :Jaundice?

I don't know how much you believe in gov nurses who came to our house usually on 2nd or 3rd day after gave birth. I really appreciate government for sending them over to check on our conditions. But please ensure that those service is at upmost standard la.. This X nurse came to our house on 3rd day. She said my bb a bit kuning, better test blood to check. Since YiJing is delivered in private hospital, we went back to the hospital for test. Came out result 12.4 , according to the nurse, only when reach 15.0 and above need to be warded. So, on their follow up call, we told them the result, but she said since bb is O blood type, better check again the next day, coz this blood type easier to get jaundice. Fine! This time, we though maybe it is FOC in gov clinic, so we gave it a try. After blood is taken, nurses asked my hub to send the blood to "makmal". My hub waited for 30mins at least , NOT WAIT for result.. but WAIT for that lab assistant to finish "Yam Char" aka "breakfast". And yes! 1 makmal 1 assistant only. CIALAK. Then my hubby got back the result in <1 min after passed the blood to him.. <1 MINUTE!! And the result came out to be 15.0 tepat tepat!! The nurse wrote me a letter and asked us to admit YiJing to General Hospital. We did not object, we just wanna get out of the place ASAP! Negative confident! My hubby immediately said go to private hospital to check again, just to ensure YiJing is not 15.0. So, we went back, and the result came out 30mins later, and showing only 12.5!! So , u tell me how to let them handle my precious if they do things like tidak apa! Though the service and hospitalization fee are free, but how to be confident with them if the diagnostic procedure is so terribly lousy? AIYO!

After 2oz of breast milk.. she now sioK siOk in her dreamy land.. hehehe .. :)

4th Day

My Princess YiJing is borned!!

Finally my second baby girl is borned!! Yeah! She is a big and healthy bb , weighing at 3.76kg aka 8.3pounds. Never expected my bb is gonna this big size. Doc din really hint me as well.. though the scanner did told me her weigh 1 week before delivery was 3.5kg. From doctor manual examination, he assured me she is gonna be 3.3kg only. Many tau, all also wrong..

My actual DD is 17th Nov but on the 6th Nov, i went for check up and doc told me that my cervix is already opened 2cm and bb position is OK. So doc told me it is anytime. Must induce within 48hours else bacteria might enter in and harm the bb. So he schedule me to induce latest by 8th Nov. In unprepared situation, i got to plan my delivery, since my in law told us 8th Nov is not a good day, so we decided to have it done on 7th Nov. On the 6th, I quickly went back to office to pack my notebook and other stuff, so that i can work from home while i'm away. Get ready all YiWen's stuff so that in law and my hubby can take care of her while i'm away. Of coz , also my hospital bag, stemlife bag and so on.. really a mess.. hahaha.. coz it happened so much earlier.. very unexpected, u know what i mean?

On the 7th Nov, once settled down YiWen, myself and hubby quickly report to the delivery suite. It was very very quite and dark inside the suite.. with only 2 nurses standby. From my previous experience, usually this suite is packed with mommies, nurses walked around busy with patients and monitoring equipments, few doctors rushing between delivery rooms. But today, just feel very awkward. Well.. don't care la.. i told nurse in the suite i'm here for induce .. but nurse told me no induction to be done on Sunday unless emergency. UH?!!! Then why doc asked me to come anytime.. ISKS! Nurse called my doc and he agreed to do it for me on his rest day... felt so relief.. so this suite is only for me and not shared by any mommies.. so special. Kekeke!

I was then induce at 2:30pm.. then by 3:30pm, my cervix has opened up to 10cm already.. doc is with me standby.. but somehow my contraction after contraction is very far apart.. about 2.5mins. Each pain, i'm required to push.. and the whole session last till 4:22pm. It is horrible to push.. initially thought doc will help me by vacuum .. but he said i can do it by myself.. AIYO! Somemore, without knowing that i'm pushing a big bb out! Sakit tak terhingga ooo! Once bb is out.. i was already too blur to know what is going on ... i only hear nurses said.. "wah! big bb ooo!!" Wah , so big ooo the placenta... ! When i wore my spec back.. the floor are stained with fresh blood.. some more a pool of blood by the placenta tray.. wah! I asked my hubby.. "so much blood ar?" Doc said "big bb mah.. now got to stitch back your part.. too big already." And the stitching like took forever to be done.. PAIN like hell!!

So glad that all is over.. and relief to know my bb is super healthy.. mommy has no complication too, except loss of excessive blood which i need to "bou" back during my confinement period.. :)
