Cough cough finally gone!

 YiWen been coughing for almost 3 weeks and lately (finally) it is gone. No more phlegm and dry cough.. Very happy.. during that sick period.. I brought her to see 3 doctors.. and everyone are prescribed different medicines for her cough.. i see also pening!  Luckily she is not those kids who hate to eat medicine. In fact, she loves it very much. At time, she will remind us to give her medicine too!

Even after seeing 3 doctors, child specialist some more, all also can't cure her cough. Beh tahan already, she been coughing till vomit. Pity her so much.. everytime she vomit, she will sure cry aloud. I'm sure she is suffering too.. So , i trying to get help from Internet, and one mommy actually suggested Dylsem .But too bad it is not available in Malaysia. But i printed this website out and show it to a pharmacist nearby my house , and she found alternative cough syrup that has same active ingredients as Dylsem. It is for cough and also flu. But she said "can take one even without flu". :) Then she also said it will cause drowsiness. She also mentioned, drug with cause drowsiness are more effective especially on kids. When kids rest and sleep more, they will recuperate a lot faster. True enough! My girl took it for 3 days.. she is now cured! My hubby actually love this drug too... make her go to bed early so he can have peace of mind watching tv..! Right, honey? hehehehehe :P

This is superb potion for cough and flu :P

Rolling everywhere...

Even since Yijing able to full-slip at 3mths 3weeks, she has non-stop practicing it. Now she is so super expert with it, she is rolling everywhere around the living room and sometimes to dinning room.. She loves to roll to underneath the coffee table. Hiding herself there... Her jie-jie will shout at her.. "YIJING ar!!" Asking her to come out.. or "MOMMY, YOU SEE!!" (Pointing at Yijing underneath the coffee table) ... These 2 girls are really entertainers to me.. :)

Still stocking up....

Freezer still full! Yijing will start on solid food soon.. wow , almost 6 mths already. Time really flies! In that so, she will be taking less milk.. maybe skipping 1-2 milk intakes.. Will that means i should lessen my pumping sessions? Maybe not. I should slowly lessen when she is 7-8mths. I foresee that she might not be so keen on solid food yet. Let her used to those new food textures first.

Currently, i still pumping 5 times in a day. 6:30am, 10:30am, 1pm, 5pm and lastly 11pm before bedtime. During sleep time, only direct breastfeeding. Averagely , in a day, i'm able to get 36oz. Yijing drinking the most 28-32oz. Everyday, i'm still able to freeze up and stock up 4-8oz. Not bad. :) I'm happy with this amount. Why? Coz i'm still able to provide full milk to my bb and at the same time stock up a little for future use. Too much is just a headache, so better not. :P Space/storage is a big issue here. :P

I'm not using anymore non-BPA bottles to store the BM. Too space consuming, plus i'm too dire lazy to wash  it. So i use double zip lock storage bag instead. It is sterilized and now with ziplock (double some more) to prevent leakage and more hygienic! Not only that, it is now thicker with double layers of plastic. I love it a lot! I don't know if you notice frozen BM does have a kind of smell? With this bags, BM remained fresh and no smell at all.. ! Amazing right?

1 bag cost me RM0.50. Everyday i need 6 bags , so daily i'm paying RM3 for the storage. Ok la.. save my time, energy, water and detergents for washing those bottles. TIME and STAMINA are damn precious for me nowadays. :P

Bumbo Seat for Yijing

Yijing at 5.5mths now,  it is time for her to sit upright. We can sense it. When we carry her while sitting down, we are able to see her held her head high then sitting quite stably without much support. So, i search high and low for a used BUMBO seat for her. Why used item and why not new? New one is about RM199.90 and baby will sit just 2 mths the most? Once baby is able to sit upright without anymore support, u think they still want you to trap them in this seat? They will eagerly roam free around the room.. :P CRAWLING!

Finally i bum into this online store and offered me RM110 + RM10 postage. 40% off compared to new one. Ok la.. just few months.. Can sell off again once not in used.

Now, i can rest more! Especially my arms! :P

She can smell , see and recognize me!!

Yijing is now at 5mths 2weeks old.. weighing at 7.42kg. Surely a good weight to me. :) She is also a fully breastfed baby. Not sure how long more i'm going to feed her with breastmilk.. but i do hope i can extend to as many months as possible.. hopefully the breasts "chang hei" a bit.. :P

Lately, I found Yijing is able to see and recognize me. She does not let anyone to carry her...even if she lets, it will only be for a moment. Once she sees me walk past or heard my voice.. then she will start crying.. babies are so smart.. they just knew!! 

Yijing does not really like sarong... the most she can sleep on sarong is just 1 hour (in quiet room), just enough for me to pump milk and take quick shower.. she just knew when will i be free... :S Though taking care of her is quite tiring for me, i'm loving every minutes of it. She loves me to carry and sing her to sleep.. without much struggle.. :) To me , she is a lot calmer than her elder sister, YiWen. Nevertheless, mommy loves both of you till the end ... **muak muak**

Obsessed!

The title of this post said out loud and clear... See picture below? What is she wearing on top of the pyjamas? YES!! Swimming suit... whenever she saw it on sofa/cabinet/wardrobe , she will ask us to give it to her.. yes! Just give it to her.. she will wear it on herself... She is so obsessed with it that she wear it in preschool and even in her bedtime! When PIL picked her up from preschool.. sometimes, she will have swim suit on top of her casual wear... funny or not? I don't know if her frens or teachers got laugh at her or not.. **slap head**

Royal Wedding : Most anticipate event of the year!!

Finally Prince William and his fiancee Kate Middleton will tied knot on coming Friday 29th April 2011. Can't wait to see the event on E! channel this Friday. Will it show at nite or day time? Nite time got appointment pulak.. cham! Looking forward for the repeat on E!.

Finally at 2.5years, YiWen is speaking our language, though not so fluent yet. But just glad that she is speaking something that we (adults) able to interpret...

So much phlegm... kof kof kof..

Ever since YiWen entered day care (full-programme), she has been sicked for countless time. Sick.. recuperating and sick again... SIGH! Luckily my company covered spouse and children medical fees, else sure pokai liao.. :S This round.. she been coughing for 2 weeks... heard lots of phlegm in her lungs.. so doc suggest to go 1 time nebulizer in Specialist Hospital. Frankly speaking, i never seen such treatment before.. and of coz this is first time for YiWen too. Before nebulizer session start.. i told her to hold and breath in as usually.. she nod and said "ok" many many times.. in that special room.. it is painted with cartoon all over the wall and 1 big LED tv showing cartoon show.. very cute and nice place for kids to enjoy.. 

The whole proccess,  is so tiring for me and YiWen, thanks to her non-cooperative attitude.. this is expected! She struggle , kick, cry and shouting non stop.. My gal is a girl with big attitude. When she dislike then means no no ... Since this is for her goodness, i have no choice but to carry and hug her tight.. scolded to diam diam inhale the medicine... very bad bad experience.. i don't wish to go through it again.. :S

Strong baby of mine!

Pardon me if photos taken are a bit dim and not too sharp.. it is taken via my HTC Aria and under dim environment. Too bad this HTC is without flash. Sigh.. should have get a flash smartphone instead. But anyway, i got it at special price.. so thinking back on the price, still no regret. :P

Baby Yijing is already 5mths 2 weeks, she is a lot stronger now.. neck and spine are much much harden .. at this time, it is much easier to carry her.. but of coz still need to be more careful. FIL who afraid to carry baby (coz young babies are soft and hard to carry) , is now loving to carry Yijing.. :D

Compared to YiWen, myself actually spent less time with Yijing, as we sent her to nanny from Mon-Fri (full day) and Sat (half day). But i'm loving every minutes with her. She is such a lovely baby.. she loves to smile in very cute manner.. unlike her elder sister who actually laugh till vomit even during baby time! **Slap Forehead**

Yijing develop a tear duct blockage such newborn. This causing extreme eye discharge and tear out from her left eye. Seen 3 child specialist and all said 90% it will be gone once she is 1 or 1+ years old. When baby is older, the duct will enlarged and then will unblocked by itself by then. Just let's hope she will have it through soon.

Few more weeks , Yijing will start on solid food.. just can't wait to let her try baby food soon! Got to shop for more cereal and steam mashed food for her soon!! :)
