Should I send her to Preschool?

I'm in big dilemma now. I hope mommies out there can give me their view on this matter. YiWen is gonna be 2 year and  3 months next year. She has shown some interest to learn new things and she is learning quite fast too! She also start to learn to talk and try to repeat some words while we adults were talking. I really wish that she could learn more and have more fun with children of her age outside the house. But, will it consider too soon for her age now? Another big big concern is i heard that kids in daycare or preschool get sick a lot.. :S No mommies like to see their kids fall sick OK? Very very heart sick one! Since I'm still in maternity leave till early Jan, should i use this opportunity to accompany her few days in the preschool?? Sigh.. headache now..

Yi Wen is too young to go to school, I think. Wait till she is 3 or 4. If you really want, bring her to play group first. Only a few days in a week will be good enough for her to mix around.

I have same dilemma with you few months back....... But my son's currently 3 yrs + now....... too soon or not...

Found him a playschool. No uniform, no textbook, no homework, no exam definitely. Hopefully he can enjoy his schooling starting next year...

First time dropping ur blog...
You may consider to send ur gal to preschool...let her be there for half day first.I let my son join preschool early this year and he learn to be more independent and can mixed around with other kids, but not to forget about the sickness....also come in once he has started his school.

I gave my prince and princess Scott's Vitamin C pastil every morning before heading to school. It did boost up their immune system and not forgetting to drink lots of water everyday. :)

it will be good for you to observe her interest and progress of learning if you can coach/home-school her until the new enrollment.

alternately, i tend to agree with sheon yan. play group and few days in a week will be a good start.

mind i ask, who is with her daily when you are working?

Thanks all for your opinions.. I will check out those preschools and playgroups around before enroll her in. No mommy would want their child to fall sick.. It is equally important for her to learn when she is now so willingly to learn. I guess we got to feed them with more vitamin and supplement to boost up their immune system. :)
