Some photos to share with all on my daughter's birthday party on 4th September. Her actual birthday is 6th Sept. We did a small buffet party for her in our own home-sweet-home with friends, relatives and my colleagues. Very merry indeed. Lots of delicious food, balloons, and presents for YiWen. YiWen was very co-operative when hubby feeding her. :)

Nowadays, it is a bit hard for me to feed YiWen. She is not those kids that can sit still while having her meal. How envy when i see those kids that can sit quietly till food is finished. How wonderful! To feed her, adult have to run and squat down to feed her. In my preggie condition, I can't afford to do that anymore.. 1+ mths i'm going to deliver already.. have to take care of my physical. No choice, but to ask hub to feed her.. luckily she is quite co-operative.. :) Oh, btw, she loves the Jimaca Red Carrot Soup.. very sweet and tasty! Thanks Wendy for introducing it to me. :) Can't finished the big pot on Saturday, we didn't pour it away, but reheat the leftover on Sunday. Too yummy to give away to longkang.. :)

Preggie Queen

Just now received a call from my big boss .. i mean the real BIG wan.. "Chairman". Just checking me if i'm in the office or not (as i been travelling quite often lately). I said .."ya.. i'm here today" and i thought he wanna see me.. so before i tell him that i will climb 3 storeys to see him, he ask me to see him in board room. Whenever i hear the boardroom, my goose bump will appear. If you watch "The Apprentice" by Donald Trump, you will know what i mean. His favourite phrase "YOU'RE FIRED!!" But luckily not the case here, he said he don't want me to run up and down as i'm preggie of 33 weeks (that's about 7.5 months). That's really touchy.. hehehe.. everyone in the office especially men are so polite and caring towards preggies. Feeling like a QUEEN now! muahahaha!!

Super Busy Mom! ......... SOOOOOOOOOON...

I could imagine now how busy will i be after my newborn arrive.. Being a FTWM, then reach home take care of 1 toddler and 1 baby.. then at the same time, must punctually pump milk for newborn every 2-3 hours (to maintain the supply).. then have to take care the house chores as well.. phew..

Since my job scope requires me to travel (light one.. ) , it will be even harder.. sigh!! How to pump milk when on the run?

Adding salt to wound.. my hubby also need to travel more too since his projects are out of hometown boundary ..

This gonna be tough.. real tough..

Anyhow, I'm going to face it positively and give the best i can to the family..

Merdeka Day 2010

We celebrated Merdeka Day this year with my MIL and FIL at our house and I cooked them a simple lunch. Didn't went to Ipoh Town to watch any Merdeka March.. too crowded and not convenience for preggie like me .. and don't want YiWen to run around the street under hot sun.. later come back sick pulak... hehehe..

So early morning, hub was kind enough to bring me to Bercham Market to buy fresh lala, pork, chicken and veggies. Hehehe.. I happily buy at ease while he "jaga" YiWen. As usually Yiwen will pester her dad to buy her some little toys.. :P This is my first time cook lala .. Not difficult at all, and hub gave thumb-ups for it. Hehehe..

Merdeka Lunch (4 adults and 1 toddler servings) : Szechuan-Styled Lala; Minced Pork Ball and Potatoes with Oyster Sauce; Acar (bought from market :P); ABC Soup

Dessert: Ribena Konnyaku Jelly (Bought super nice jelly moulds from market this morning and can't resist to try out another Konnyaku Jelly.. RIBENA flavour! cute ar this design? There are over 20-30 different shapes in a single mould. And great thing is it only cost me RM2.50 per set. What a steal! Hehehe.. )

Last Weekends Lunch

Last weekends, I spent most of my time in my favourite corner (my wet kitchen). Usually i will cook simple lunch 1 dish and 1 soup for my hubby and daughter. Ya.. due to laziness. :P Plus, don't know what else to cook. Lunch on Saturday: Chicken and Chinese Mushroom (canned) with Oyster Sauce; Stir Fried Long Bean with Garlic and Fish Paste; Chayote, Sweet Corn and Mushroom Soup.

Lunch on Sunday: Aubergine with Fragrant Topping; Sweet & Sour Garoupa Fish; Lean Pork Soup with Green Radish and Carrots (this soup is great remedy for cough and phlegm)

Dessert: Sour Plum Konnyaku Jelly (special? ya.. it is great recipe from BlessedHomeMaker. Most of the time I only tasted sweet fruity konnyaku jelly.. but sour jelly? Never before. But this is definitely a very refreshing dessert. My hubby and daughter love it. My coll Jeck said "hou hou sek ar!!" hehehe.. )

EOE Online: Online Photo Printing Service

Ever since YiWen turned 1 year old, I had never went to any photo shops to develop photos. There are too many photos that I took after that and kinda of disorganized in my external hard disk. To filter all at one shot really takes time. But that day, I bummed into EOE Online which is an online photo printer that provide online photo printing service to all and now you can sit in front of your computer comfortably, organize and upload your photos at any time (whenever you free), and at anywhere (as long as you have Internet)! So convenient!

They are now having special print promotion where 4R print @ RM0.30 each, 5R print @ RM0.50 each. Best is there is no minimum quantity required! But if your order is RM35.00 and above , you will get free delivery (SkyNet courier service) from them.. WOW! What a bargain.. :)

It is so easy.. you just have to register at their website, then choose upload option (Photo Express Software which is a small size installer which you installed into your PC, and you can upload and resume your upload at any time; Easy Upload (using Active-X in IE) or the most basic way is File Upload (if you upload only few photos, then choose this option). Secondly, upload your photos, and lastly select print size and proceed to payment. You can choose several payment mode too.. Credit Card/Online Maybank Transfer or Cash Deposit.

They even have Online Support something like chat program that you can contact their executive if you have any enquiries or problems. YES, very friendly.. :)

I placed my order on Monday and today (Wednesday) i already received the parcel! So efficient! The quality of the printing is excellent. Will definitely place order with them again.. :)

Scam Scam Scam!!

This morning i received a call from a guy.. a very professional speaking guy from MBF Bank. He asked me if i call them yesterday to increase creditcard credit limit. I was "Ar? I never had anything with MBF, what credit card?? What credit limit??". Then he repeat my fullname, IC number and contact number, and all at correct info! Then he told me someone must have use my name to apply credit card (of coz in my mind i was thinking which idiot got my photostat IC to apply card?? How daring !!). This "MBF Guy" told me to jot down the card details (number, expiry date, type of card, date of application, branch applied, outstanding balance (>RM9K), credit limit, the last transaction venue and date) so that I can report this to Bank Negara "PUSAT PENGURUSAN KAD PALSU" at 03-2782 6916.

Of course, without knowing it is scam.. i called the number given, but that guy behind (also very professional) told me that he need to on his voice recorder to record this case. So , he will call back. After waited for 15mins, he didn't call. So i called him back asking why he didn't call. Then he told me.. "OkOk.. i call now.. " I started to feel a bit skeptical about this guy.. usually such service line, voice recorder should have already been activated automatically.. then how can BANK NEGARA ding ding dong dong on such fraud report? Surely they should have call me immediately right ? So, i told my MSN friend about it. She said "TIPU wan la!! Don't give anything to him.. " So, i quickly google Bank Negara and MBF website.. YES!! Indeed got such scam!! OMG , i almost got conned.. luckily didn't leak out any info to those idiots..

Hehe.. that "BANK NEGARA" con man did call back.. i wanted to know how he wanna continue his strategy.. he repeated my name, then he pressed few buttons to activate the voice recorder.. then ask me to repeat my name, my ic number.. then i hang up.. he never call me back after that!! Lousy !!

For those who don't know about this.. please be informed.. and also inform your elders who are having credit cards on this scam to never reveal any security info to anyone or corporations over the phone. They might not be as canggih as us who can google immediately for such issue.. and they will be extreme panic knowing someone is trying to steal from their tabung haji which they susah-payah save through out their living.

Tambun 'Woodlands' Park

Last weekend we brought YiWen to Tambun Woodlands Park at Bandar Baru Tambun. We moved into this new neighbourhood for almost 9 months and this was the first time we visit this park which is less than 1km.

Didn't knew that we have such nice park nearby. This park is courtesy from Total Investment developer for nearby residents. It has jogging track, great landscape for relaxation and picnic, kids have this playground and swing for their playtime.. just perfect. :)

I must tell out this.. while i was cleaning up the dining table .. i accidentally spilled the hot tomato soup on hub's laptop.. at that time YiWen was enjoying Barney show on YouTube at my hub's laptop.. luckily didn't kena YiWen, but too bad .. HUB'S LAPTOP! .. sigh..

This morning, he told me keypad, touchpad and usb ports a bit sot-sot already.. felt so guilty.

Then again just now, hub called said his laptop OK already after the technician did something.. FOC some more .. phew! I'm so glad nothing gone wrong with it... hub is very nice, didn't scold, what an escapade.. :P But I'm truly sorry, hub.. :S
