Fourth Night : Me and You

Reached MIL's house at 7:05pm, today quite early as brother in law (fr kl) and sister in law (fr malacca) coming back for dinner together with us. Ya, they are all going to Penang to look for my younger sister in law to celebrate my MIL's bday on 8th Aug. What an ONG number hor? 88 :) I won't be joining them as hub not around. Alone travel with MM , and in trimester pregnancy condition like now.. is really big NO-NO to me. Coz i had bad water retention on my legs.. pity my legs.. hehe :)

Apparently, they couldn't make it for dinner as traffic was quite jam in highway. So we headed to look for Jia Poh (my MIL's mom) for dinner at EIPOH restaurant somewhere in Pasir Puteh. Yummy ooo! Maybe i hungry at that time.. apa pun on the table will look and taste yummy. MM was quite behaving during the whole dinner period. Playing with her tupperware water bottle.. aka.. playing water la.. hehehe.. :P

After dinner, we sent Jia Poh back to her house and head straight to Tesco to buy diaper for my sister in law. YiWen is always like "kambing keluar dari kandang" when reach any supermarket.. she will run and run to the entrance.. no way for me to chase her.. only FIL so free chase after her.. hahahaha.. while they paying for the diaper, i brought MM to jalan jalan in front of counter. She saw a Play Car.. which a little boy is riding.. she ran and tried to climb into the play car.. AIYO.. she really thought that little boy is invisible.. teruknya!! Of Coz i stopped her.. but she kept pushing the poor boy away.. until the boy's grandma asked the boy to let jie jie sit. I pun pai seh with YiWen's behaviour. I tell the auntie to "ignore her.. let the poor boy sit.. she is always fighting for something with everyone.. dun care her.. " The auntie nodded with a smile..but YiWen kept climbing into the car even i scold her many many times.. the auntie beh tahan liao.. she said "let her sit.. she must be very eager since she tried to climb into it many times.. ".. i really speechless already. I put RM1 in it, and let her had a ride. Then Yeh Yeh and Mama came out from the counter. Once the play car stopped, Yeh Yeh carried YiWen away ... of coz she cried! Kicking and crying till everyone looked at her.. but only man-power can stop her.. yeh yeh used up all his power to carry her to the car.. hahaha.. NO WAY for me to do that.. i always use the soft way..coz I DON'T have the energy .. maybe not now.. let BB come out first, just don't want to hurt my BB inside me. :)

Reached home.. wah seh!! She saw her horse rocker which PoPo bought for her birthday in advanced. Hehehe.. YA, finally it has arrived. Together with the Kitchen Set. But I'll wait for hubby to assemble the kitchen set when he is back. :)

After cleaned her up, bancuh 8oz susu for her..

10pm: She was like very tired.. before i off the light and ask her to go to bedroom, she already run and off the tv and head to the staircase with BUSUK.. cute huh? So easy for me ... hehe..

We zzzz at 10:15pm.

Happy World Breastfeeding Week 2010!!

Do you all know that 1-7th Aug 2010 (this week) is World Breastfeeding Week (WBW) ? YES! Breastfeeding is so important that there is even a week in a year that is dedicated to it.

Myself is a hardcore breastfeeding mom. Hehehe.. i used to failed, felt frustrated and dissappointed when i can't breastfeed YiWen exclusively during first 2 months. I bummed into several problems e.g lack of milk, sore nipples, cracked nipples, severe engorgement (due to blocked ducts) leading to fever .. you name it.. i think i kena all before. But thank GOD, after received lots of advises from my sis in law and also few experts on the NET, i managed to hold on and successfully exclusively breastfeed YiWen till she is 10 months. Phew.. then slowly, i'm introducing her formula milk (FM).. Why 10 months? Why not 1 year? Hehehe.. coz i thought to wean her off when she is 1 year old mah... so it was time to introduce her FM lor.. So she still mixing on BM and FM till about 1yr 3 months, then we stopped BM altogether and only drink FM from feeding bottle.. i no longer pumping milk.. just on demand, i will give her direct suck from my breast. That continue till she 1yr 9months and then she weaned off from breast.. :)

Women are not born with breastfeeding knowledge. They need to learn and gain support from surrounding in order to succeed. If you wish to breastfeed, but surrounding are negatively detering you.. then be firm and gain knowledge and support from all breastfeeding moms on the NET. They are many of them around. Don't be shy to befriend and ask advises from them. :)

Just can't wait to breastfeed my newborn this Nov. Hehehe.. need to check my pump condition too.. it got to be working fine!

In conjunction with World Breastfeeding Week 2010, Penang Mother-To-Mother Peer Support group is inviting mothers to participate in the momentous One Minute of Simultaneous Breastfeeding.

This event which calls for Malaysia's mothers to join together to breastfeed their babies for one minute at the same time, will take place on 7 August at 3pm at the DISTED College, 340 Macalister Road, Penang.

The event is open to the public with song and dance performances for famiily and friends to enjoy, as well as to learn about your rights to successfully breastfeed your baby.

Here's how to take part:

1.On Saturday 7 August, at about 3.15pm prepare yourself and the baby (or babies). You can begin breastfeeding at this time and continue to do so till 3.30pm and continue after according to your baby's convenience. However, it is very important that you are breastfeeding your baby at exactly 3.30pm, because this is when all the mothers in Malaysia in their homes, offices, hospitals and at the event venue will be breastfeeding.

2.Just after you have successfully breastfed your baby at 3.30pm, pick up your phone and sms to 0124996389 /0124156446 / 0174259378 or email to pgmmps@gmail.com before 4.00pm so they can count you in as part of the number of mothers in Malaysia who have joined the One Minute Simultaneous Breastfeeding event. The announcement of the official numbers of participants will be made at 4.15pm.

Third Night : Me and You

Reached MIL's house at 7:20pm. A bit late as i went to Jusco to buy present for MIL's birthday this Sunday.

YiWen as usual very happy seeing me. Flagging door key at me asking me to open the door and come into the house quick.

While having dinner she was very naughty. Reluctant to sit and kept playing with containers at the rack. She took one with tea leaves in it and ran out to living room. Of coz , we disallowed her to play further. We pujuk her with another empty container as exchange. She buy it for a while, then cried asking for the latter pulak.. cham.. ignore her for a while, then she kept quiet. Then, she cried again asking us to on Jie-Jie Vcd (those 4 gals singing in a group which sold in every VCD shop) for her. So, Yeh-Yeh on the CNY musical for her as the house dun have any of the CD she wanted. She was happily enjoying the show and out of sudden, she went to my handbag and took out the camera. Kept asking me to "hoi... hoi.. hoi.." Ok.. on it for her.. she sat quietly on my lap and viewed all the pictures and videos from the cam until reluctant to stop! 8:30pm... still watching! Asked her to bangun.. she make noise again.. yeh-yeh carry also bising.. alamak! So i carry her to the car with the cam still on preview (so scare she drop it!).. isks! GILA sangat dengan camera!

Reached home. Very cooperative. Went to living room by herself without whining. Mommy is extremely hungry even already wollup 1 bowl of rice. Cooked the same cintan mee as yesterday. As usual YiWen wanted her share as well.. so we happily eating and finished it in 5 mins.. :P Then heat up the "fu chuk yi mai" i brought from MIL's house. Share again with YiWen. Lastly gave YiWen 8oz of milk and she wallop it all while watching Jie-Jie VCD. Cham, i'm like training my gal to take SUPPER every nite pulak.. :P

Done with all that, off all lights and she will automatically off the tv for me. Nowadays, she won't go to bedroom without her Hippo. So, i got to carry the Hippo (beside her BUSUK, water bottles and my precious handphone) up all the way to her bedroom .. cham.. pregnant also got to carry so many stuff. :S

Tired! Zzzzzzzz.. at 10:30pm.

Cherries from Washington

My colleague bought 1 box of red cherries claimed is from Washington , US. Everyone told me cherries are good for pregnant lady.. coz full of Vitamin especially Vitamin C. I never thought of it. Only thought to get some for YiWen since she caught flu lately. She needs it more i guess. So i bought 1 kg from my colleague. Guess how much? Not cheap .. RM35.60 for 1kg .. agak agak 74 bji ( i didn't count la, only my colleague so free to count it) .. so actually is 48cents for 1 BIJI!! What an expensive fruit! :P

I asked my colleague if can keep till Sunday for hub or not... She said "CAN la!! But must put in the fridge and in TUPPERWARE tupperware!" She emphasized TUPPERWARE so many times! kekeke.. She is a BIG fan of TUPPERWARE. Apa plastic also she buy TUPPERWARE brand. No doubt TUPPERWARE products are at upmost quality .. some more life time warranty, so expect some "WOW" when you see the product pricing ya.. hehehe.. :)

Third Day : Me and You

Woke up at 7:16am. YES! 7:16am!! Late by 45mins. Usual time is 6:30am. I must have pressed the alarm 2 times without knowing it. Luckily YiWen came by my bed , else surely will continue to sleep till 8am! GOSH! Panic.. quickly clean and dress up.

Took my prenatal suplements. Got to skip my milk intake in the morning. Replace it when i'm in the office later.

Packed my bags and her bag and put in the car first.

YiWen saw me going out to compound.. wanna push her Hippo out as well. I stopped her. "Hippo not suppose to be out of house. Hippo must be clean clean wan" .. She listened and push it back.. hehehe.. listen jugak.. :)

Quickly asked her to take her snack - coco jelly and naik kereta to nanny's house.

Luckily she is obedient in such a rush minutes. Phew!

Reached office at 8:25am and still managed to tah pau my favourite Pan Mee from Chha Yong Restaurant at Ipoh Garden South. Must take it with their sambal.. SUPER YUMMY!!

Second Night : Me and You

Yesterday night, MIL not free to take care YiWen. She had appointment with close relatives. She did offered to bring YiWen along to the event, but i said i can manage on my own. So i will jaga YiWen instead.

Fetched her from nanny's hs at 7:10pm. Then took her to nearby children park for her playtime and take the opportunity to have my pregnancy exercise too.. I also brought along her favourite Red Bunny Tricycle. A big MISTAKE! Shouldn't have brought it there.. she kept pushing the tricycle, reluctant to sit and learn to cycle.. there is no way u can push the tricycle in straight line unless someone maneuver it. And yet she scolded everytime i helped her to keep her tricycle straight.. kik sei.. 7:40pm, the sky is turning dark, we need to get moving already.. not safe to be on the park this late. Nowadays too many child kidnappers and traffickers around. This is DAMN scary! Of coz, she is reluctant to cabut.. she is enjoying her Red Bunny.. but what to do.. kept reason to her lo.. pursue her lo.. macam begging her pulak.. isks!! Then don't know what came into her mind she dumped her Red Bunny and ran towards the car.. YIPPIE.. at least she listened to me. Phew!

On the way home, she kept asking me to replay her clip which i recorded her in the park just now. But half way viewing, the camera battery gone flat! AIYO! Apa lagi, she kept saying "hoi ...hoi ... hoi" (meaning open.. open.. open) . Mommy can't do magic.. so kept saying "Mommy on it at home later ok?" She dun understand la.. kept kicking and throw tantrum on her car seat.. haiyo!! Disaster betul!

Reached home.. she very bad mood. She reluctant to go into the house. Still want to keep "PUSHING" her Red Bunny. Hai Yo! Compound not big enough, asked me to open the auto gate so that she can play at roadside.. , i said "NO" she cry and cry and cry.. poor girl. I pujuk her to come up to house to lor.. opened the clip in my netbook and showed it to her.. then only she come in.. Very cranky ooo.. PENING! While she enjoying her clips from baby stage till now.. i asked her if she hungry .. "u want mum-mum or not?".. She nodded. Hehehe.. lau kai pun know what is hunger hor.. so cute! Cook her home-cook-style cintan kong lou mee.. very easy only..

Prepare the sauces:

1) Light soya sauce

2) Some pepper powder

3) Sesame oil - few drops

4) Osyter sauce

Boil water and cook the cintan mee... once the mee is cooked, pour it in the sauce plate.. there you go.. She ate most of the mee, left 1/4 for me only.. hehehe..

Then she drank some soya bean which i tah pau when on the way back from park.

Clean her, diaper her.. she wollup 8oz milk down.

YiWen enjoying her CNY musical show while i washed up bottle milk.

She is sitting on her favourite Hippo (from Fisher Price).

10:15pm, pujuk her to go upstairs to sleep. Due to trimester pregnancy, i got tired quickly. Before she doze off, i think i already doze off .. hehe.. What a night!!

My Subsidised Trips... Wuaaaaaaaaaa!! Sob Sob

Due to pregnancy and family.. i got to forget about my company trips this year in September and December.

So sad.. September my colleagues are going to Vietnam and company will subsidize RM1000 for each of them. After that they only pay balance of RM400+ ONLY.. for 3 nights 4 days. To join not a problem, but only my hub said that already 7 mths into pregnancy still wanna fly meh.. then 4 days wor.. he said he got no confident to take care YiWen on his own. He told me everytime i went for business trip.. the 2nd night YiWen will sure cry for Mommy already. I pun heartache sikit to dump her for 3 nights.. hehe.. but in all , i still can't let go the RM1000.. I miss going trip with my colleagues la.. after all, i got to wait 3 years to have company organize a trip again.. SIEN!

December, not a company trip.. it is club trip which the club is own by our company. So we call it club trip la.. Trip to Hatyai at RM338 .. 2 nights 3 days. Inclusive transport, accomodation, 2 breakfast, 2 lunch, 2 dinner and show entrance fees. And i got the news saying that club might subsidize RM300 per person. So each of us only pay balance of RM38!! Hallo!! This is just too tempting la... December is my confinement month.. really wanna cry liao... WUAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!

Second Day : Me and You

Woke up as usually at 6:30am.

Took a glass of milk and prenatal supplements. Skip 2 tablets of Calcium cos the pill is too large for my recuperating sore throat. Meantime just dun want hurt the throat further. Maybe at night when getting better than only slowly telan the pills. :P

Pack my bags and YiWen's bag into car first. Today will drive hub's car to work.

Water the ground floor plants.

Then, scrub her BUSUK (her fav blanket) coz yesterday she held it when i fed her flu medicine. Dropped few drops onto her BUSUK.. isks isks.. Luckily she still have another one BUSUK to backup.. else no need to sleep lioa.. phew!

Then heard she call "Dah.. Dah.. Dah.. Dah..." Alamak.. she woke up liao. Thought to hang all the wet clothes outside before wake her up .. now spoil my plan liao..

Carried her down.. she ran to fridge..asking for Vitagen. OK.. i drank more than 1/2 then passed it to her.. hehehe..

After that she followed me up to hang wet clothes then top floor to clean up myself and prepare to go to work.

HAIYO.. smelt something stinky from YiWen.. "U poo poo again ar?!" She nodded with the Vitagen in her mouth.. isks! Her timing is always that RIGHT!!

Cleaned her up , diaper her and then quickly naik kereta send her to nanny's hs..

Since my hub's car do not have car seat.. so got to use my Mommy-Power to control her to sit down quietly in the car. Ya.. she sit ... but on my lap while i'm driving! I'm like BRITNEY SPEARS now.. kept praying that no policemen will be that hardworking to put a block on the road so early morning.. Luckily after few cornering, she moved and sat at the back of the car.. mumbling her baby talk.. Only God knows what she is talking about.. hehehe.. :P

Reached office on time at 8:30am. Phew!

YiWen Speaking Session

Sore throat yesterday, so dinner can't take rice or solid food. Called MIL that I go tah pau porridge before go their place. YiWen already in MIL's house. So i can freely go tah pau .. :P

Reach MIL's hs around 7:15pm. Once i got down from car, YiWen already holding the door key and flagged it at me (Ask me to take the key and open door). Hehehe.. this is how she welcome me and hubby when we reach MIL's house.

YiWen has been quite good when we having dinner. Since she already had her dinner at nanny's house, so she no longer interested on what's on the dinner table. She played with her toys or what ever she can find..hehehe...

After washed all the dishes, i played with her.. she was extremely happy yesterday night.. Jumping and laughing around (for no reason). Wakakaka..

8:15pm: Time to go back to our own nest (oops.. house), usually she is reluctant to go back, coz she still wanna play with her playmate (her yeh yeh). But suprisingly, she was very eager to follow me. Jumping around asking me to carry her to the car. Yeh Yeh offered to carry her, but she pushed away. So yeh yeh helped me to carry bags instead and then i carry her to car.. she is so in mood to play with me yesterday night. Hehehe..

Reached home as usually... looking forward for her Hippo; her favourite walker.. push, sit, carry it around the house.. i pun pening tengok dia.. never tired de.. haiyo..

After cleaning up, i asked her to sit and we do some speaking session. I know she can't speak well yet. But if got time, i surely will force her to interact with me. It is time she learn some short word/phrase so that she will stop whining but talk when she want something.

Bad Day : Sore Throat

Don't know why i had a BAD BAD sore throat this morning.. wonder izzit the cup mee that i took last night and then didn't drink much water after that.. cham lo.. YiWen also shared some with me.. but after that she wollup 8oz of milk , hopefully that will clear the heatiness.. seriously, i sick better than she sick..

Now telan saliva also painful.. reflex, my hand will close the mouth everytime i swallow saliva.. imagine how painful.. being pregnant, i can't starve myself and baby without lunch.. anyhow got to take something, thought of porridge but office is so ulu.. mana to get porridge?! ADUI... I also lazy to go search nearby clinic in Jln Pasir Puteh. No choice lo.. bungkus one economic rice, but chose those soft soft dishes to swallow.. ADUI.. every spoon of rice really killing me.. after that need to telan the big big antibiotic (which doctor claim is safe for pregnancy) .. sigh! Feel so guilty for my baby to have to endure this antibiotic with me.. i hate to take medicine (beside prenatal supplements) during pregnancy. Always thought that it will somehow harm my bb in me.. faster go away la SORE THROAT!!
